A Sparkling Fourth!

The quiet roads outside the store suggest one thing-- its July Fourth time! People have left work, sports, and chores behind for the week.  July the Fourth is one of the happiest holidays, is it not? What other holiday insists upon sparklers, bright colors, sun, and summer yummies? It is a holiday of fun.  And even more importantly, it is a time to celebrate our freedom as a people and as a country.  So bon voyage to all our readers.  May this be the "sparkliest" July Fourth yet!

Buy up the local Summer produce at your nearest Farmer's Market.
We love the market at the Dr. Pepper Place in Downtown Birmingham and the market in Alexander City near  Lake Martin.  Both are held on Saturday mornings. 

Nothing says Fourth of July like a good ole' fashion hotdog.  Check out Food Network's suggestions for some good eats.
