We have been spending much of our time recently decorating homes for the holidays. It is a complete joy for us to spend time with clients preparing their homes for the holidays. Although there are certain classic Christmas decorations that we always incorporate in our designs, we love looking for new Christmas inspiration. Below are pictures of some of our favorite Christmas ideas to make your home Merry and Bright.

We are having a special event at Marjorie Johnston this week! Amy Pleasant is an artist from Birmingham who shows her work all over the country. Her works are simply enchanting! The majority of her work centers around ink figures. Each figure tells its own story or shares a series of events. Each work is more special than the next. The work will be up for the next 2 weeks. We can't wait to see you here!
We have especially loved her inspiration board seen in the picture below. When we first met with Amy in her studio, we fell in love with the inspiration board in her studio. We all instantly knew that this would be a wonderful thing to incorporate in the art show. We love seeing how these figures translate into her bigger works.
Check out the pictures of her work and our opening party below.
